tgncc (340), Bellmore, New York, USA Sep 23, 2008 The aroma is very hoppy. It consists of floral and citrus hops, and is very enticing. The appearance is a nice orange, with a persistent off-white head. It resembles some marzens in this respect. The flavor is very hoppy also. It has a definite grapefruit flavor, but also a strong malty sweetness. The finish is very hoppy, clean and refreshing. Nice beer overall. This is unique to see a lager as aggressively hopped as an IPA. I think it works here.

A rich lager, generous on the malt and with a decent dry hoppiness that lingers on in the finish. A fine beer to drink with food.
