(On tap) Heartland Brewery is one of surprisingly few brew pubs in NYC - this beer was tasted on rhe Union Square branch. Light amber in colour, pretty flat head. Brewed with coriander an oranges of which the latter are quite prominent making this a nice refreshing spring/summer-beer.

<i>Draught at the brewpub, Radio City</i><br />Light amber color; nice head. Very light aroma of orange zest. Light mouthfeel, dry and watery, with a light orange zest flavor. Poor.

<i>Draught&#64;Heartland Pub, Union Square, NYC</i><br /> Pale copper brown, small white head. Nutty brewing mash malty nose. Malty but with light palate. Strong flavor of orange, light notes of coriander. Original and refreshing. Better than expected.

On tap at the Radio City location. Poured a light to medium and clear golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tstes of orangs, citrus and light coriander. Thin body.

On tap at the Union Square location on 9/15/07: Pours a transparent bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly toasted grainy malts and a hint of lemon zest. Body starts earthy, grainy and lightly sweet with some toasty notes. Not bad for a light beer.
