Capa (719), Yokosuka, Japan Aug 11, 2008 Biscuit malts, fruity, light hops, and noticeable spices in this brew. Not great, but I was pleasantly surprised with this light beer. chicagodri (467), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 7, 2008 I thought this was one of the better beers I had in the sampler. Nice aroma and fruit flavors. Nice subtle orange flavor throughout. Not bad for a pale looking beer. Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Jun 29, 2008 A Sim rate (tap at Heartland Brewery, Union Square): Aroma of lemon, orange and lots of sherbert. So so sweet with lime and melon. Not so impressive in colour (it IS a "light ale" after all), but carbonation and lace look great. Lace really sticks to the glass. I never thought so much flavour could be packed into such a pale-looking beer. I could drink this all day. It’s melon, peach, raspberry. So refreshing. Very unexpectedly good. zebracakes (972), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 27, 2008 Part of a Seasonal Sampler at the Chophouse location. Light pale orange yellow, thin white head. Aroma is Children’s Chewable Tylenol (gross) Flavor is the same with grapefruit. rugbydude05 (158), Kew Gardens, New York, USA Apr 12, 2008 5 oz sampler, draught at Union Square. Light transparent color, very strong citrusy aroma mixed with spices, almost like a gumdrop. Taste reflected the aroma with high sweetness and the palate was smooth. I felt the sweetness was too overpowering and the beer lacked character, but on a warm day you could do worse.
