A bit booring ipa, little floral bitterness with some sweetness. Amber in color with a white head.

Yellowish orange with a bright white head and very nice lace. Aromas of citrus and pine hops, which follow in the flavor profile. Sharp bitterness on the palate. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel, lively carbonation, and a crisp clean bitter finish.

Tasted this at the bar on tap in New York City just off Times Square. It was promising in aroma and color but the hops were too overpowering even for this style of beer. Not balanced by enough alcohol content and the mouthfeel was light and bubbly like a lager more than an IPA.

Draught at Heartland Brewery (Empire State Building) NYC sept 2012. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Hoppy, malty and really bitter flavour.

[keg, Heartland Brewpub, New York City] Slightly hazy golden copper beer, with a decent white head. Aroma is caramel malt and some limey citrus. On the taste, the malt takes over, but there’s enough of that lemony/limey fruit to make it interesting. Certainly doesn’t taste 6.5% - but it’s one I would order again [24112012]

Slightly hazy deep golden color with a small white head.
Piney and earthy hops aroma with some pomelo.
Creamy malt, med-hi bitterness, some marmalade and oniony hops.
Dry, medium bodied with a long finish. OK IPA.

Pint. Straw gold with medium white cap. citrus malt and bitter nose. Taste is a bit flat. Some toffee and floral bitterness. Citrus rind.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of hops, citrus, grape, malt and notes of grass. Medium bitterness. This was a descent one.
