Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 16, 2005 (On tap) Cute variation on the IPA name-tag. Nutty brown and slightly unclear. Nice aroma from the hops, and a quite prominent bitterness. argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA Oct 19, 2008 (draft 43rd St) Clear light amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, light peach. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light peach, bread. Light-medium body, some acidity. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jan 9, 2007 Draught at the brewpub, Radio City
Beautiful amber color; creamy head. Light hoppy aroma. Reasonable malty body, with a strong hopping, with some resins. Long and strong final, with a lot of sweet caramel and some toffee. Not exceptional but enjoyable. Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 13, 2004 Amber body, off-white head proposes thick lacing and seems like a cloud mass atop the highly carbonated liquid. Creamy malt blended with orangey and floral hops. Hops feel rather juicy in mouth and provides a nice citrusy bitter kick, but it’s still so little going on (probably C-hops though not as expressive as usual or it’s a combo). Almost airy body, moderately high carbonation, crisp. Getting more boring and one-dimensional after every sip. TBone (5172), Pori, Finland Mar 12, 2008 Draught@Heartland Pub, Union Square, NYC
Amber color, stready small creamy white head, lace. Piney, aromatic hoppy nose. Piney and a bit citrusy hoppy flavor. Sharp citrusy finish. Ok all-around IPA.
