Heartland Indiana Pale Ale is one of the better beers I have had from Heartland. I enjoy the amber color and creamy head. The aroma is quite nice and fresh. This is a nice beer by itself or with a meal.

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 4, 2009 On tap in USA. Gloden yellow color, little head. Fake citrus aroma. Hoppy un natrual orange sweet sticky taste. Palate is as the taste is light. This is the typical American Ice Cream flavored brewery stuff. Not good at all. The flavor is likewise characterized by a spicy hop prick accompanied by earthiness and pleasant floral bitterness. Well-balanced,flavorful, and sessionable IPA. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 13, 2009 $7 bucks for a pint. Fricken ridiculous. And for the quality of this beer, nothing more then average. Crystal clear copper colour. Two finger sized white head. Some firm hops on the nose, but taste was moderately hoppy at best. Yes it’s New York, but i can’t move beyond that insane price for a beer. IPA was not that hoppy. Kind of weak actually. zdk (322), New York, USA
