COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American porter is ebony with a subtle garnet hue. Rich chocolate malt is highlighted by notes of fresh clover honey and blackstrap molasses. Its strength imparts a dryness that complements the long, nutty finish. A very satisfying beer.

RedSox2004 (977) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - APR 5, 2013
Dark mahogany red, thick, pillowy head with good retention and lacing. Aromas of molasses, caramel, honey, and a bit of carmelized/burnt sugar. Honey is stronger in the taste than it was in the smell. Toffee and caramel flavors are also evident, but the sweetness from the honey wins out. Medium to full bodied, good carbonation and a lingering sweetness.
