On tap at HB Burger w/ Deirdre. Malty brew... odd grape taste in the finish. Good but not crazy.

Tap at Union Square. Pours a dark color with clear appearance. Aroma very sweet but faint. Taste was malty with a little hop character. Very generic marzen- not much body but not too bad. Smooth palate but no aftertaste.

Light and fruity - not nearly as hardy as I like my Oktoberfests - the finish was a bit hoppy and thin, not good for the style at all - sometimes when a beer defies expectations, it’s a good thing, but not in this case.

(10/22/08) Draught sample at the brewpub at Empire State Building, New York. Clear deep amber color. Aroma of malt, some toastiness and light fruity hints. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel and butterscotch. Medium-bodied.

Sampled in NYC Times Square. A pretty good little brew. Easy drinking, quality malts.
