Clear amber pour with a decent head. Nice enough beer with some spices in the aftertaste. A good winter beer

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Empire State Building location. Pours amber with an off white head. Nutty sweet aroma, with caramel and light spices. The flavor has chestnut-like nutty sweetness, and some light spicy notes. Solid.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Some chestnut, cinnamon and spices are in there with a decent malt body to envelop it but still a bit too watery for me. If you are a malt head this one might be for you though.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
I had this beer a while back and from what I can remember I enjoyed it. I’ve had this at the pub/brewery so it was fresh.
Nothing special about it is popping into my head at the moment.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this during a drinking lunch at work. An interesting beer for heartland however i found it too nutmegy or gingery. Tasted better as it warmed but something slighty off at first and not something you could drink a lot of. But still glad i had it especially on a wednesday at noon.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at union sq. This is fairly decent for a heartland brew. Pours reddish brown, actually quite pretty. Nothing in this beer really stood out to me. Some roasted/smoky notes with lots of malt flavor and some spice to cap it up. Bitter is mild.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep amber/red colour, sweet fruity aroma. Flavour is good malt up front, finishes with a subtle but pleasent bitterness. One fo the better Heartland beers.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
on tap, radio city location. Pours a clear amber color, little head. Aroma is faintly spicy and citrusy. Flavor is fresh and hoppy with some spicyness but nothing in particular stands out. Palate is very smooth and overall the beer is well balanced and very enjoyable. Much more body than many other hearland brews.
