Part of the sampler at Heartland. Pours amber/red. Kind of a bland beer though. A little bit of malt and not that much else. I thought it was a little watery.

Light fruits, light hops, some bitterness, and caramel malts. Crisp and refreshing but not all that flavorful. It is beer, but thats about as far as it goes.

A Sim rate (tap at Heartland Brewery, Union Square): Toffee and caramel popcorn aroma. Slight sweetness in addition to the grains. Nice malts, but not much of it. Good lace and head (though it’s been sat there a while). Amber/red in colour. Bland flavour that’s a bit metallic, tart and grainy. It’s not one of their best.

Nice looking red color, thin white head. the taste has a slight malty character, but almost no sweetness. The most dominant flavor is of nuts. The palate has the nutty quality as well, with some slight hops coming in at the end. Middel of the road beer.

Very ruby red with a Ang described white ‘pancake head’ that left full lacing down entire pint. Mild sweet caramel aroma with hops making an appearance at the first sip but malt was prominent. Body was minimal. On tap at Empire State location.
