Draught at Heartland Brewery, New York.
Nice lasting head, hazy amber/orange body. Heavy sweet apricot aroma. Very nice, smells like real apricot! Also plenty of apricot in the flavor along with malt, hops and flowers. Very tasty and well-balanced for a fruit beer!

Orange-copper in colour. Aroma of anise, slight sweetness and very little apricot. The flavour at least had some apricot in it, mild sweetness and anise again. Light body. Finishes with a medium bitterness and slightly dry.

Cloudy orange color with thin head that goes away pretty quick. Decent fresh apricot aroma. A bit sweet with a mellow hoppiness. Not to carbonated, which may make this a bit more drinkable. Like apricot syrup.

A little disappointing. Just a whiff of the apricots at first. Maybe it was served a little cold. Came of as a weak apricot soda at first with no hint of malt or hops. As I let it sit, it slowly took on better characteristics. A bit malty for a wheat based fruit beer, but the hops finally showed up three quarters of the way through the glass. But they were a helter skelter lot. Nice try from a fun brewpub chain.

At Brewtopia. Pale orange coloring, with a definite aroma of apricots. Taste was actually hoppy and had a slight taste of apricots to it. Some malt and hops with a bit of apricots underneath.

Tasted in NYC. Tasted at Heartland brewpub. Amber cloudy appearance. No head. Aroma is of sweet fruit, almost candy floss. Taste is more subtle with only a hint of apricot. Finishes slightly spicy.

Had a few sips of my girlfriend’s pint (hey she offered!) while relaxing at the Brewpub at the South St. Seaport in Manhattan. The nose hints at apricot and cereal. The brew is a hazy copper with a thin white frothy head that is gone in a flash and doesn’t leave much evidence. The flavor starts malty with a moderate acidity and tartness, finishing with a heavy dose of apricot syrup. The medium body is lively and dry. Feels astringent at the finish.

This one is much better than Magic Hat 9. Does not taste artificial at all, and it is without doubt a perfect thirst quncher. Good fruit beer. However I hate apricot, but that is in another forum ratefruits.com perhaps?

Very much like Magic Hat #9. Its sweet, and is balanced well with the taste of apricots. I thought it was decent.
