Dégustée à la succursale de Union Square. Très beau collet de mousse qui persiste. Couleur vieux jaune. Trouble. Ronde en attaque. Légère odeur de coriandre et de citron très subtile. Pointe d’amertume en finale qui dérange pour une wheat beer.

Apr 5, 2006 3.30.06 At the 43rd Street location. This was listed as "Heartland Special Wit" but whatever. Same thing. A decent witbier. Cloudy. Lots of citrus and acidyness. Pretty refreshing before a 4 1/2 hour bus ride to DC

Mar 28, 2006 At South Street Seaport. Very cloudy Wit that I thought ranked up their with the better brewpubs. Not a Hoegaarden, but many a brewpub or micro cannot do this style justice. A nice job. Right amount of citrus and a little bite.

Mar 14, 2006 As is the case with everything Heartland brews, this beer is a bit more bitter than you’d think (even though the style calls for no bitterness whatsoever). The coriander and orange peel are barely detectable and overall the only saving grace is that the beer is indeed cloudy.
