22 oz bottle. The aroma is softly spicy and really aromatic. Bright and zesty with a lot of floral hop aroma. Lovely and fresh with a whiff of sulfur but still clean. Minerally and hoppy. Awesome really. A top notch pilsner.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is grassy, with grains, hay, and some dry hoppy notes. Flavour is very mellow and refreshing, with grass, grainy malt and some light hop notes. Subtle, restrained and perfectly well-balanced. Great thirst-quenching pilsner.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ryan (3187) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Grassy and floral nose with a touch of lemon. Malt is rather bland with just some raw sugars. Chunky bitterness at the finish. Certainly decent, but doesn’t stand up to Victory’s best offerings. Needs slightly more attenuation and a more interesting malt.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 brewolf (168) - Wilderness, WA, USA, - JUL 11, 2012
I cannot seem to let myself ’dissect’ this one in the accustomed manner ... it just feels awkward for me to do so right now, at least concisely. I have enjoyed this one multiple times via bottle/tap, and it has never been less than stellar and wholesomely satisfying. This one evokes something for me that goes beyond tasting.
Simultaneously complex/nuanced and brilliantly focused. An admitted lager fanatic ... this is one of my absolute favorite beers.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 rating from draft and bottles, dozens and dozens. faint hazed gold with fluffy and rigid white head with infinitely lasting retention. minerallic calcite nose with pillowy and fluffy yeast, and the honey and butter-tinged biscuit pils malt gives it rigid and unwavering support for noble hop brightness, pungency and bitterness. exceptionally full and rich malt through and through. ridiculously quenching acid, musty and pungent hop aromatics, touches of lemon oil and citrus pith, perfectly-suited bitterness to the Moravian-like biscuit / honey malt sweetness... this is an astoundingly brilliant and delicious czech pilsner. I usually have some measure of doubt in my opinions of beer, but I stand fully behind this one: best lager ever made in America, no question. endlessly expressive and shapeshifting. after multiple revisits and hundreds of German and Czech pilsners under my belt, I feel this rating should in the high 4s or maybe even perhaps 5.0.
