4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22oz bottle from Belmont Station/maltmaster420. Served in Pilsner glass.
A: Clear straw color with a 1" slightly receding head. A drifting of bubbles. Spot on for the style.
N: Slight floral presence and some dry malt/biscuit. Pine and earth floor. It’s very subdued and clean in the way I expect a fresh pils to be.
T: Straight forward hop bitterness with a pronounced spruce/pine and earth tone. Some black peppercorn. Biscuit. This is extremely clean and impressive.
M: Surprisingly full, maybe a tad too much for the style.
O: An excellent representation that’s worthy of its accolades. Clean, balanced, and shining. A showcase for the style, and an important reminder how important freshness is to the style.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
(Bouteille): Un essaim sulfureux se rue sur une soupe céréalière tendre et machable aux esters comme un plateau de fromage. Du miel, des fleurs et des herbes complète le volet aromatique gracieux. De la haute gouture.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours clear and golden with a small, wispy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma features peppery and earthy hops accompanied by pale grains and pilsner malt. Light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor is grainy, biscuity and moderately bitter. Finishes crisp and clean with lingering bitterness. Big-time thanks to hannont for giving me the chance to crush this world-class pilsner! This is now my all-time favorite pilsner.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared at a tasting at Alexey’s place. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma has graininess, a bit of bread, lager yeast, and nice grassy and slightly citric hops. Flavor has a bit of slightly sweetish bready and grainy malt, lager yeast, and nice moderately bitter, crisp, grassy and citric hops. Medium-bodied. Very nice and fresh.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slightly hazy gold with a white head. Medium body. Sharp hoppy bite over light toasted grain. A bit of grass and light lemony citrus. Finish is clean and crisp with a lasting bitter bite. I’ve been looking to get my hands on this for a while and it did not disappoint. Easily one of the best pilsners I’ve had.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bottle, bought in Portland at BeerMongers. Slightly hazy, burnished gold pour with a gorgeous, fluffly, magnanimous white head. Nose and flavore are stunning, with cracker, toasted bread, spicy hop giving way to more pronounced herbal and grassy bitterness, and hints of rye and yeasty dough. High carbonation, clean and floral, quenching. Glorious pils.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Most prominent in the aroma and flavor was lemon rind. Flavor was slightly citrusy. Reminded me a lot of Firestone walkers pivo pils.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of light grass, straw, sweet cereal and grainy notes, and barely a hint of lemon grass. It pours a transparent gold with a little bit of orange tint to it. It has a two finger white head that settles to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with light sweet cereal and grain notes with just a hint of citrus. The finish has light grass, straw, and a hint of lemon peel. Overall, this is just super drinkable and sessionable. This would be a great beer to have readily available in the summer...really, it would be great to have available year round.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to joenugs. Nose is super soft and pillowy malt with a grassy hop presence. A moderate catty note to the hops reminding me of Victiry Prima Pils but less prominent. Hazy light golden color with a tight packed white head. Taste is moderately hop forward with a light fruity note to it. Light grainy flavors are wonderful but I really feel the hops detract from that just a touch. I’m torn between loving this with the classic German hops or wishing there was a softer czech hop profile. A very well made beer.
