3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a thick cloudy orangish brown with an medium off white head. Aroma
is rich, malty and a bit on the lagery side. Slightly skunky. I really like the taste of this one. Good balance. Not to mention the pine and spruce that really shine through. Body and palate are perfect for the ABV. Very good. All
those out there who are beer nuts like
myself and have been exposed too much to American ales, should really
step over to the Scottish and English

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From bottle. Drank after a heavy day of big beers so maybe didn’t do it justice. Not memorable but not offensive. Suspect it’s worth another try, but also not a stunning drop.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber color, clear liquid and average head.
Aroma of fruits, wood and alcohol.
In the mouth it is sweet, a bit bitter and very fruity.
It is too sweet for me... but still a very good ale.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle from cellar door, Sutton Coldfield. Copper beer with large head. Aroma is malts and spruce. Taste is dry astringent herb. I have had spruce beers before, but this is not a good one. Almost drainpour. Actually half way through, drainpour!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
It has small fine islands of foam and smells of dark malt and orange peel. The flavor is very sweet and tastes a bit of yeast, pine needles, orange peel, toffee and slightly sour drops. It may taste a little reminiscent of Cointreau. Vinous mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good elements of berries and a light hoppy and spicy finish as probably because pine needles rather than hops. Very different, but very exciting ale that offers long enjoyment. Perhaps it is a little too sweet in length and a little good hops had enough clearly raised the matter.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Diferente y notable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Malty aroma and not immediately apparent that this has pine but it’s in there somewhere. Nice honey brown colour. The taste is rather medicinal and even more when it’s going down. Interesting.
