Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of burned malt with elderberry and some tobacco undertones. Malty flavor with elderberries. Dry bitter finish with some alcohol presence.

A pitch black beer with a fine brown head. The aroma is of sweet caramel. The flavor is sweet and roasted combined with spices and berries. More special than good.

33 cL bottle. Pours pitch black and with a dense light brown head. Spiced and dark roasted aroma. Roasted malt and mild chocolate smoothness in the initial flavour. A set of wineous notes and spices appear before the finish, a citric/fruity note of elderberries too - but if I didn’t know from the label that it contains elberberries I wouldn’t have guessed/sensed it. The finish itself holds a solid bitterness with a liqourice note. Nice, but lacks some more powerful flavours to be more interesting, subtle flavours are plentiful yet too vague.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, almost black with a reddish hue and a small, creamy, light brown head. Some roasted malt in the aroma and distinct berries. Medium body with roasted malt notes and then a distinct, tart fruitiness from the berries with an astringent bitterness. Interesting. 101206

Bottled. Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is berries, wood, roasted malts. Flavour is sweetish roasted malts along with some wooden hints. Some berries and other stuff when it gets warmer.

Black in colour. Fullbodied with some indefinite fruit aroma.

Black coloured with a medium sized head that disappears fast.
Aroma of chocolate with roasted notes.
Low carbonation.
The flavour is a bit watery with dominated by chocolate and roasted notes and notes of berries.

Bottle. Pours a black almost black colour with a small tan head. Roasted malty aroma with some hints of chocolate. Roasted malty flavor with some hints of elderberries. Roasted malty finish with some bitterness.

Black with a bubbly white head & good lacings. Aroma is Spicy of mint/elderberries. Soft light thin body. Roasted malts but the elderberrie touch is dominating throughout. Slight roast bitter end. Ok - but im not in love!

Dark ale, with red shades, wonderful thick head. Roasted malt aroma, lightly fruity. Classic stout taste; the fruits are very difficult to distinguish, they just add a light acidity. Good roasted and hop final.
