3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The strange aroma is ... strange ... but thats alright ... it pours a hazy orangeish-brown with no head ...
it feels fine in the mouth ... light and refreshing ...
the flavor is the real story here ... very floral, sweet and refreshing ... i can imagine the taste would be hit-or-miss for most people, but its definitely unique and refreshing ...
a think a lot of the lower reviews here are from people were expecting it to taste like something they usually buy ... but c'mon, how can you pass up the chance to try brewed heather?

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
50 cl bottle. Head is quite huge, on top of a lovely clear amber. Aroma is fresh, floral, very well balanced and a real pleasure to drink. Given the fact that it’s one of the oldest recipes in the world and it’s a really good beer (those who love very bitter drinks might think otherwise, though) it’s worth buying and trying. My two cents: it’s much better than the current overall rating!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle from John Mays - Thanks! --- Floral wheat aroma, refreshing. Hazy medium amber color, white head that drops to a full cover, hanging strands of lace. Taste is malt and floral herbs and spice that adds light fizz and light hops on the way to a finish slowly moves back to malt and spice. A light brew, a little yeasty, too much of the herb/spice combo to be first rate.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 10/20
I don’t understand the low rating on this one...I found it to be very good and I am a dark, heavy stout drinker so it really was a refreshing surprise for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at the Eagle and Child in Oxford. Spicy, reminded my of ginger, and had a good malt backbone. I wasn’t blown away by this - it was alright, but didn’t shout class to me.
