popdoggy (100), USA May 11, 2008 This is one of the most different beers ive ever had. the spicyness of this was just hard to describe. sort of like a tripel mixed with maybe hints of coriander and citrus. i actually really enjoyed this and will have it again.
Berserkir (25), California, USA Aug 17, 2008 Aroma is malty, light fruit. Taste is very one dimensional. Malt with a floral aftertaste. This makes a decent "hot day" beer. Easy to drink. DandyWolfFloyd (225), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 11, 2008 Aroma is sweet matls, with scant detectable hops, sweet fruits, suggesting berries, and figs. It’s color is a golden translucent color, akin to a cider, with a thin white collar. It’s flavor is a light sweet fruit and malt, with berries. The palate is like a champagne, light dry, w/ moderate effervescence. Kalli (404), Falun, Sweden Aug 4, 2008 [Archive]
Strange but interesting and nice caramel-mint aroma – perhaps cinnamon. Chewy, cloying, toffee with mint. Sweet yet balanced. Very intersting. It’s beer but not as we know it. iammarc (175), Inverness, Scotland Jul 27, 2008 An interesting Scottish ale, one of the better ones produced here. Very herby aroma and taste to go with it. Bought from local oddbins. Homebrewerguy (239), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 22, 2008 not impressed, the beer looks normal enough, but is rather light in the malt flavor without a lot of herbal notes, the bitterness in on par with hops and I dare say you can’t tell the difference, rather bland flavor for a Heather beer, I think a homebrewed version would be more telling.
