I like the spices in this beer. Very well balanced. You do taste the gooseberry but it is never like a fruit beer. Bottle from de Schans

330ml bottle pours a hazy yellow with a quickly disappearing white head and almost no lacing. Aroma is interesting with berries, spices, grass, and some skunkiness, but nothing overpowering. Taste is slightly sour. Average carbonation and body. Clean finish. OK, but I doubt I’ll try this one again for more than 1/3 of the price.

The aroma is fruity and floral. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, berries and flowers. The finish is sweet and fruity. Fairly average overall.
