Commercial Description:
Pilsner-style lager, brewed in the Mexican style, this is crisp, and clean with slightly more body and color than most American counterparts due to the use of 100% malted grain (no rice, corn or other adjuncts).

Had this beer on 3/27/2002. Aroma is a light sweet scent that reminds me of a home brew. Color is a light gold with a slight haze and good carbonation and head. Taste is easy but odd. Starting with a light body it goes down with a an off taste of malt coming on. Finish is a bit strange it has this odd malt flavor and a and after taste. I can’t seem it find the words to describe it, it seems to be a bit of a plastic taste in the beginning that gets a little better as you drink. The finish is this odd bitter sweet thing that is somewhat bland.

Served with a lime, which I removed, but it was too late - it still dominated the flavor profile. Clear straw in color. Soft mouthfeel with a carbonation that seemed to take the stage. Malts were sweet, albeit light. Clean, light finish with a very mild bitterness. Well made and surprisingly balanced, relatively speaking. Overall, blandish, but still better than many other light lagers out there.

Draught. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
