Commercial Description: A brown ale with a deeply garnet-colored body from the use of chocolate malt, it is balanced perfectly with the American hop flavor. The hop aroma also compliments the roasted malt nuttiness.
May 3, 2003 Dark brown with a red hue. Nice, thick-bodied mouthfeel. Rich and roasty-toasty with a healthy bitterness. Some nutty and fruity notes. An uncommonly hoppy brown ale, which I liked. One of the better HD beers I've had.
