Commercial Description: Dry, crisp, amber in color due to use of Rye malt. We also add a touch of coriander spice for a little extra flavor. A unique style but a local's favorite.
May 3, 2003 Hopefully I caught this one on a bad day: Clear as a bell, amber in color, no lasting head. Hardly any carbonation either, which made the mouthfeel flat and watery. Small amount of the typical "rye-like" notes, though very subdued. Had more of a "root-like" characteristic that made it earthy. Slight fruitiness. Overall, a little too bland, light and lacking.
