Dark with a amber hue and a foamy(ish) white head. Candy malt aroma with a very slight taint of skunkiness. Bitter, smokey, malty, grassy, molasses taste. A bit thin and carbonated. A winter session beer.

Slutfest! Black and slightly brown at the edges. Aroma is strongly floral hops. Flavor is light chocolate and floral hops. Not bad, but not really great either. Like the idea here though, hope they tweak it a bit and keep at it.

Milk chocolate, subtle coffee, and noble hops on the nose. Dark brown-black with a moderate, khaki head. Roasty with a hoppy snap, very balanced. Medium body, lively carbonation, and finishes very cleanly with lingering roasted chocolate and grassy, hop tones.

Bottle. Pours clear black with dark brown highlights and a medium to small, frothy off-white head, short retention, leaving the head at the edge of the glass with ringed lacing. Aroma is nutty and toast malt with dates and light earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with dark malt derived fruits, light hops and bitterness, definitely balanced toward the malt with a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

75 cl bottle at Bishop Arms Järntorget Gbg, okt 2012. Brown beer with a small offwhite head. Malty, bready aroma. Bready, malty flavour with caramell notes.

Generous pour from motortoddhead! Deep brown pour with frothy off-white head. Nose is gentle roast and faint coffee with lager-type malt and mild caramel. Flavor is smooth roast, caramel, and a faint fruity malt character. Some wet malt as well. Residual, powdery roast.

Dissapointing. Beautiful black pour with a rich brown head. Bitter for bitters sake. I will not be buying this beer.

This brew is a brown-black color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and hops in the nose. Light to medium body with a roasty character and flavors of peppery hops and sweet malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

The beer is a dark chestnut color. Very dark, nearing black. Atop the beer rests nearly an inch of light beige head. Spotty lacing.
The aroma is subtle, offering hints of chocolate, roast.
Light, simple, mild roast. Easy drinking and soft on the palate. A touch of pine and bitterness. Overall, the flavor is a bit subdued and understated.
A decent beer. Nothing wrong with it. Good pairing with some spicy food.
