COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our AARGHtoberfest! is a rich and toasty lager with a color reminiscent of the fallen leaves of October. A subdued earthy hop character helps to balance this malt forward beer. This beer is only available from August through September.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy amber, with a head that quickly subsides. Not much on the nose, and the taste follows the nose. Watery, not a lot of malt flavor, with a very thin mouthfeel. Not a very good exemplar of the style--there are many better amber marzens.

Clear amber-orange color with a thick and foamy off-white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and mild hops. Light to medium body with flavors of biscuit malt, caramel and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Average overall.

12oz can from Bleu Cafe awhile back. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Malty aroma, earthy, biscuity, bread, some floral hops. Malty flavor, biscuit, earthy, a touch of metal. Meh.

Overall not bad tho I thought it a little strong at first so I guess its OK by me, nice memories. Was doing a Skype with my granddaughter while drinking this fall melancholy beer. A little sweet on the finsh as with most

Can pour. Translucent copper pour with a white head of foam. Aroma is somewhat sweet, but mostly spice forward. Decent, but nothing great.

Serving: 12 oz. can from State Line Liquors. It pours a light amber orange with a pillowy off white head. Light toasted malt notes in the nose. More toast on the tongue with light floral from the hops. Definitely on the drier side (that’s a plus!). Not heavy or sweet. Solid.

Can courtesy of sonnycheeba. Pours clear amber with a medium, creamy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is nutty, cookie, and toast malt with earthy and spicy hops. Flavor is malt forward with moderate hops and bitterness, a clean lager character and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
