Pours a slightly hazy golden brown with lots of bubbly off-white head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma is malt heavy, sweet and bready, hint if yeast on the back end. Taste follows, but a hint of grassiness and almost pineapple flavor. Not bad, easy to drink, good carbonation, well done.

Can->Willi Becher. Gold with huge frothy white head. A: sweet grains, malt, lemongrass. Taste is similar, but even sweeter. Too sweet and grassy.

For a lager very nice flavor. But really this a steam beer. Nice malty carbonation mild flavor. Sweet but balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Sweet grainy malt and light grassy aroma. Slightly hazed gold with a huge off-white head. Sweet bready malt and grassy hops flavor. Body on the light side of medium, moderate carbonation. A bit sweet for my personal preference.

12 oz can into a pint glass. A: Pours a lightly chill-hazed golden color. The head is pretty strong to start (about 2+ fingers high, off-white shade), but it fades fairly quick. Its texturing is rocky as it fades, and leaves behind small splotches of lacing on the glass. S: I pick up some decent grapefruit, flowers, and pine, all backed by slight malt sweetness. Even some yeasty tones come through. In spite of those qualities, nothing really rings distinct - all the notes seem to muddle together a bit too well. T: This starts off sweet, with a smooth hop flavor appearing in the midtaste. Overall, sweetness wins out, but not to the point where it’s suffocatingly cloying. The aforementioned hop profile takes on a very floral, nectary tone, with lesser grapefruit and earth appearing in spurts. As it warms up, a touch of cereal grains pop up near the finish. M: Like a good lager should be, crisp and easy to drink. While not particularly clean or dry on the back end, it doesn’t seem to hinder drinkability. Solid thirst-quenching properties. O: Not bad. It’s nice to have a steam beer (whoops, I mean California common) not from Anchor. I’d never turn down a free can of this.

Can. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is corn and Pils malt, spicy and earthy hops with a light fruity note. Flavor is clean, Pils malt, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Can: Clear gold with a tall, frothy, busy, off-white head. Grain, honey-lemon aroma. Taste is softly bitter, grassy hops, grain malt. A nice little beer...tasty.

Medium sized white head with good retention and skimpy lace. Clear, copper/gold hued in color. Mild nose of grains and honey, lil grass. Body is light with a soft carbonation, lil sticky on the palate. Grainy pale malt flavors, lil fruit and grass, grain and berries, hint spicy. Bit of a sweet finish, doughy. Not too bad i guess? Can from statelineliquors.
