3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This bottled beverage poured a large quickly diminishing yet long lasting head of fine to medium sized bubbles. The body is a softly carbonated light brown transparent color. The aroma contained notes of deep floral hops and reminded me of sunflowers. The palate was tingly from start to finish with a malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild yet deep hop and malt with a thick Vienna malt base.

Clear ruby brown beer that smells piney like an IPA but also has some Belgian yeastiness to it. Nice bitter flavor and a texture that bristles on the palate. Malt and yeast aftertaste. Very nicely crafted hybrid beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazy, brown pour with a lightly tan head. The aroma is spicy with some clove and herbal hops. The light body has an oily texture with average carbonation. The taste begins mildly sweet then turns slightly bitter. This is pleasant, any occasion beer.

6er from Capone’s. Pours hazy copper with off-white head. Nose was caramel malt, peppery, funky citric hops. I love Loose Cannon, and this one had less resiny and peppery flavor but more funky florals, with the same type of caramel malt bill, that is to say bold and hefty, with a complex finish.
