Deep gold in color with floral and spicy hop aromas. Brewed with pale, carmel, and Munich malts balanced with Cascade, Centennial and Hersbrucker hops. Well rounded, fruity and complex. Pairs well with salads, mild cheeses and pulled pork BBQ.

Transfer from BA review on 9-2-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a medium golden color with a one finger white head. The head fades very fast to leave a very light level of lacing. Smell – The aroma is light and is of a bready smell mixed with a light caramel smell. Taste – The taste begins of a malty breadiness mixed with a light caramel flavor. As the flavor advances some lighter earthy and herbal hops and a corn sweetness come to the tongue. These flavors mix with the bread and caramel to take the taste to its end. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather light with a higher level of carbonation. It makes it rather drinkable and is good for the style. Overall – OK, but nothing special here.

Bottled. Gold pour white head. Some straw and light fruits. OK but not too charismatic.

Drank from the bottle. Aroma is hay, corn, and a trace amount of lemon. Taste is a little grassy, with focus on bread. Light body crisp beer. Okay, not my favorite style

Straw yellow. Finger of white head. I had to assume it was a lager from the aroma, which is more crisp and light. Touch of that lemon-zing. The flavor is actually pretty good for a lager. It’s got a touch of honey, with sweeter barley malts. The hop is very subtle, strictly for accent/balance purposes. Creamy feel, very thick. THAT part isn’t lagery. It’s like some kind of lager/ale hybrid. It’s flavorful but also rather refreshing. Not nearly as horrible as I thought it would be!

transparent gold, fizzy white head, decent lacing. Nose is dusty grain with light syrup sweetness. Grainy metallic flavor, light estery but decent dryness.

Tried this at the Federal House in Annapolis as their house beer. Gold colored, thick head and the medium body. Corn sweetness and light grassy hops.

12oz bottle into glass. Clear golden color. Aroma of citrus hop and light caramel. Taste is smooth and easy with a little fruity flavor. Light bodied but slightly watery.

Tasted two of these as part of a beer of the month package (generally a bad idea it seems). Beer has a light hoppy start and then a mid soapy range before finishing like a generic ale. Don't know if these bottles were bad but not likely to try a third ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
