3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours burnished gold with a foamy white head. Mild malt aroma with a little fruity hop. Near medium body with foamy carbonation - a bit spritzy. Flavor is lightly roast caramel with some citric hop. Not one of those near tasteless gold ales. It has substance. Finishing decently bitter.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Crystal clear, deep golden ale with some floaties. Not enough to haze the beer, but enough to wonder "what the heck are these large floaties doing in my glass... should I wash this thing?
Medium-sized, frothy, off-white head. Good retention and spotty lacework. Good, malty aroma and flavor. Notes of orange blossom honey in the nose and flavor. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, incomplete finish. No closure. I need closure, damn it!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle courtesy of my brother Justin. Thanks! Clear golden orange appearance with a white head. Grassy hoppy, bland pale malty nose. Sweet pale malty, lightly grassy-organic hoppy flavor. Pretty boring beer but there isn’t necessarily anything wrong with it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2010 Tap. Pours a slightly hazy light gold with almost no head and thus no retention and no lacing. Aroma is bready, doughy malt with some lemon, grass, cereal, honey, and Fuggles hops. Taste is biscuity malt with honey, light citrus, and faint balancing English hops. Because it poured with no head, I feel that the oxidation has really given this brew a poor showing. 7/8/2009 4/2/5/3/11=2.5
Tap at Mackey’s. Poured a clear deep yellow/light amber with a thin white head.
Spotty lace. Citrus hops, sweet bread rolls, caramel in the nose. Taste adds some soy sauce and slight diacetyl. Still has a nice citrus hoppiness but still bready malt forward. Lively, bubbly palate. Not bad. 8/25/2009 6/3/6/3/12=3.0
