Bottle @<a href=http://ratebeer.com/forums/thisted-kalder target=_new> Thisted Tasting by Maria.. Clear medium amber orange color with a aveage to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, perfume, grape, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120408)

An orange beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet grapefruity combined with notes of pine and caraway seeds. The flavor is sweet with a crisp toffee background on which are lots of hops and grapefruit notes. Nice.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Slightly hazy amber golden with a tiny, off-white head. Fat aroma of caramel, overripe fruit and aroma hops. Quite full-bodied with notes of overripe fruit and then a distinct, bitter finish. 290407

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours clear and deep orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is solid grapefruity and pinewood hoppy. Caramelish and overripe fruity hops flavoured. Bitter and dry into a roasted caramelish finish. Dry hoppy and caramelish malty.

Cask@GBBF2010. Goldeny amber colour with not much head. Aroma is fruits, wood, herbs and some mild nectary notes as well as bicuits. Flavou ris wood, fruits, earth as well as some mild sour wooden notes.

[Bottled, thanks chris_o!] Clear amber, small creamy head. Powerful citric grapefruit aroma. Sweet, fruity, chewy and caramelly with full body. Medium bitterness. An IPA dominated by aromatic hops.

Hazy amber color. The hop aroma is quite resiny. Good body, with toffee flavor, light residual sweetness; the hop has some resins, pine needles, bitter orange peel, average bitterness, but not biting as wanted. It seems a bit tired, not fresh.

Blond color. Nice aroma of citrusy hops. The body is quite round, toffee flavor, and good hops, citrusy and also a bit resiny. Strong final, resiny, leaner than the alcohol content would suggest. Good hop Ale.

the cherry cuts the grapefruit and bitter edge and gives it a bit more of a fruity character, works well

Slightly hazy golden-amber colour. Massive, bright lychee and mango hop aroma with syrupy malts underneath. Well-balanced. The hops are strong, peachy, fruity, with a bit of mandarin. The malts are grain-crunchingly fresh pale and take the edge off the hop bitterness in beautiful fashion. Drinks bigger than it is, but that’s okay because it drinks well.

(Bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of spruce/pine. Flavor of malt and pine hops.
