3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - DEC 10, 2009
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2010 2010-03-09, 7-4-7-4-14=36 Hazy amber color. The hop aroma is quite resiny. Good body, with toffee flavor, light residual sweetness; the hop has some resins, pine needles, bitter orange peel, average bitterness, but not biting as wanted. It seems a bit tired, not fresh.
2009-10-18, draught at Pony Bar, New York, 7-4-7-5-15=38 Blond color. Nice aroma of citrusy hops. The body is quite round, toffee flavor, and good hops, citrusy and also a bit resiny. Strong final, resiny, leaner than the alcohol content would suggest. Good hop Ale.

Slightly hazy golden-amber colour. Massive, bright lychee and mango hop aroma with syrupy malts underneath. Well-balanced. The hops are strong, peachy, fruity, with a bit of mandarin. The malts are grain-crunchingly fresh pale and take the edge off the hop bitterness in beautiful fashion. Drinks bigger than it is, but that’s okay because it drinks well.
