Loose Cannon Hop3 Ale is a triple hopped IPA containing over 3 pounds of hops per barrel. Not for the faint of palate, it has an intensely floral, spicy, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Available year round

Nose of heavy pine & citrus, some yeast & spice, flowers. Pours a sparkling orange copper. The decent cascade resolves into a tight off-white head that is mostly lasting & leaves good lace. The flavor is burnt & bitter with a comfortable level of acidity. The full body is dry & soft. The finish feels astringent. Right up my alley.

My first Heavy Seas beer. Quit delightful flavor very robust, crisp, suggests citrus. Definitely buying this one again.

Bright orange, bronze pour with thick one inch white head. Very citrusy aroma, orange and lemon and a hint bitter. Taste is noticeably less citrusy. Medium body, more malt flavor than hop but yet still light. Again more crisp hop flavor in the finish. Very easy drinking and pretty decent.

Great drinking beer. Sweet hops with a great finish. Gorgeous gold color that brings some aroma to the nose but hid some of the sweetness.

Had this beer last night for the first time. I really enjoyed the balance of the hops. A great beer with a pleasant hoppy floral finish. Will definitely enjoy this beer again.

I didn’t rate you? Weird. I wanted to look up what I thought because a friend ordered it. I know I’ve had this on brewery tours so lets rate this on my memories. Too hoppy. That is all.

Pure sweetness. This is a beautiful beer, it tastes a lot like Bell’s Hopslam. Excellent hop balance.

Bottle. Citrus, pineapple, and caramel malt aroma. Clear orange amber with a small off-white head. Sweet orange and caramel malt flavor. Not as hoppy as I was expecting it to be, but I like the hop/malt balance. Medium body.

Pretty standard IPA. Dark orange coloring. Nice floral aroma. Tangerine taste that hits you pretty hard, but then quite a bit of malt in there for an IPA. Decent spicy bitter finish. Didn’t rock the boat too much, but a fine drinker.

Bottle - pours gold with a medium head and lacing. It took 4 or 5 sips before I finally figured out that it had a tangerine taste to it, but not tangerine in a good way. More like tangerine that is about to go bad. Maybe I got an outdated bottle.....or maybe I just don’t like it. Has a medium mouthfeel and a dry finish.
