2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma of a mostly malty sweet nature, a couple of hops thrown in there but lets face it. This Is Not A DIPA! More like a mediocre american barlewine. I just started brewing myself(with a friend)about 7 weeks ago and the DIPAwe have in the fermenter tastes hoppier and truer to style(that’s before dry hopping & bottle conditioning). Back to the drawing board guys>>>

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A- Pours a clear copper color with a nice, 1.5 finger frothy head.
S- Smell sweet and malty with hints of caramel.
T- Very sweet, caramel, hints of piney hops. A bit of a mettalic aftertaste.
M- Thick with low carbonation.
D- This was a fairly drinkable beer however I think it was a little off balance in the malt department which made it a little harder to drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 01-03-2010 (Bottle) When poured, this beer forms a small ivory head with a short retention, transparent orange body, visible carbonation, and it has spotty amounts of lacing. The Aroma is caramel malt, bitter, and citrus hops. The Taste is very bitter, caramel malt, citrus hops, and has a short dry finish. The Palate is tingly and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is a beer for the hopheads, is a sipping beer and has a lingering biter hoppy aftertaste. If you enjoy very hoppy tasting beer, then I recommend trying this one.

Nice Beer! Pours a dark amber, cloudy with a nice white head that holds well. Aroma was malty sweet and hoppy. Taste was a nice sweetness from the malt and a good blend of hops that bitter nicely. The aftertaste was good. The mouth feel was full. A really good beer!
