Served on draft at Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA on 7/19/11. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a medium sized creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, corn, vanilla and a toasty finish. The taste is vanilla, corn, toasted malts and a faintly hoppy finish. Medium bodied. I like this one a great deal.

This beer pours a golden yellow with little to no head. Not as flavorful as I would have hoped but still a very good beer. At 7% a couple 22oz. bottles will have you feeling like Davy Jones himself in no time

22oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a creamy medium sized white head. Aroma is pale malts, touch of spice. Flavor was light like a lager, corn notes, pale sweet malts, creamy overall. Drinkable, price was about right - so it was certainly worth checking out.

22oz bottle. pours a clear gold with a medium, creamy, white head. nose has notes of vanilla, baking soda and pale malt. the flavor is lightly sweet with vanilla cake flavors. the abv does show up in the beginning and is quite astringent but goes away with time and the beer sweetens up some finishing enjoyable.

Poured a light honey color with a large white head. Aroma is slightly spicey with some skunky notes. Some corn and light fruit as well. Taste is very smooth at first with some creamy malty flavors. The taste kinda takes a turn for the worst though, with alcohol, cloves, and skunky flavors. Some hops help balance out the sweetness, but it is a little strange with the creamy palate. Some alcohol noticeable in the finish. Overall interesting, but not great.

Poured from 22oz bottle. Pours clear golden color with creamy white head. Spicy yeast and hop aroma. Real light malt flavor with hop and yeast finish. Slight spicy clove in the finish. Very smooth feel in mouth. This beer is very crisp and clean and leaves no aftertaste.
