On tap at Bocktown. Meh...OK for an American attempt at the style but a little weak. Aroma was decent. Brown sugar, Belgian yeast and dark fruit. Pour was a nice murky brown with a two finger tan head. Taste was disappointingly weak. Watered down and thin. Brown sugar, plum and raisins in the front. Hints of cinnamon and candi sugar as it warmed. Nice yeasty bite, but the problem is that it turned to water in after the swallow. All flavors were washed away. Very light carbonation.

Aroma is more of a weisenbock with clove, banana and such. Flavor is pretty well balanced with some hints of raisin or prune and faint sourness. Finish is a bit sour with some stickiness. I like this beer quite a lot. Thanks argo0

22oz bottle. Medium beige head that mostly dissipates, atop hazy copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, banana, clove, bubblegum, some candi sugar, caramel -- very weizenbocky. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, bubblegum, banana, some clove, light raisin/prune. Medium body, some stickiness.

22oz bottle. Poured a copper color with a medium sized light-tan head. Aroma was dried fruits (raisins and plum) and caramel notes. Flavor was sweet malts, caramel, dried fruits. Finish was fruit sweetness. A pretty decent brew. Alcohol notes aren’t overpowering.

(Bottle) Little to no head atop a cloudy caramel body. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation. Flavor is very fruity (berries, strawberry, light cherry, apple), yeast, caramel, warm alcohol, a faint tart taste. Some bitterness in the finish.

Pretty decent abbey dubbel. Aromas of yeast and malts. Typical belgian dubbel flavors. Overall pretty decent.

22oz bottle. Vintage 2011. Copper color, tan head. Aroma of raisin, caramel and spice. Dark fruit flavor, sweet caramel sugar, toffee. Mostly raisin and black cherry. Finishes with a bit of peppery spice and floral. Very nice, sharp floral hop character. Well balance.

Medium sized tan head with good retention and minimal lace, spotty at best. Initial pour was clear, final pour is hazy brown in color. Nose is fruity, hint of raisin and caramel, clean bready notes. Body is lightly medium, good carbonation, soft, little oily on the palate but somewhat thin. Mildly sweet malts, caramel, bread with dark fruit notes, raisin and plum. Bready and yeasty notes also. Lightly sweet finish, malts and fruits, little doughy. Bomber from statelineliquors.

Bottle. Dark copper pour with a tall, frothy tan head. Aroma is dark fruit, yeast notes, sweet malt, caramel, light spice and floral notes. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, dark fruit (raisins and black cherries, mostly), soft yeast, light spice, and flowers. Body is medium-full and chewy with a bubbly carbonation. The finish is slightly sticky with sweet malt, caramel, hints of brown sugar, light spice, dark fruit, melon, flowers, and yeast notes.
