COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malt focused, made with five types of grain including Vienna and Munich malts – plus a secret extra malt that we use only in our Prosit! Consider this bomber to be the burly big brother to our Clipper City MarzHon, a three year in a row winner at the Great American Beer Festival. We’ve balanced the sweetness of the malt with three kinds of hops making this one of the boldest marzen style lagers you’ll ever try.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating. Pours very hazy orange copper color with a 1 finger dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of big caramel, toffee, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, raisin, pear, brown sugar, herbal, and light earthy hops. Nice malty aromas with good strength and balance. Taste of caramel, toffee, raisin, pear, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and light earthy hop spiciness. Lingering notes of caramel, toffee, light fruits, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and earthy hop spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice flavor balance and complexity of malty flavors; with moderate hop flavor balance; and zero cloying sweetness present after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a creamy and slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice imperial Oktoberfest lager. Very nice balance and complexity of malty flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering. I could tell this was an older bottle, and it aged nicely.

22oz bottle, shared with friends. Mostly clear red / amber color. Smooth crisp lighter carbonation, minimal khaki head. Sort of a sweet taste, though not too sweet. Caramel malts, some spices. Enjoyable imperial oktoberfest.

Sweet, nutty, slight alcohol, crackery, malt syrupy. It isn’t a refined okto but it isn’t terrible.

22 ounce bottle that poured a nice golden copper color, aromas of caramel biscuits, and some sugar. Flavor is the same, remided me of a supped up marzen/ocktoberfest style beer, enjoyable overall.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3989) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2012
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sour tangy caramel with notes of bread and apple with a solid bock presence. The flavor was sweet and tangy caramel, cherry and pear with a tart undertone. The finish was medium length caramel and fruit. Medium body but nicely smooth. Solid.

Bottle. Melted caramelly aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is quite caramelly with a good mild sweetness and a little liquorice aniseed to it.
