COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The secret is in the 2.5 pounds of spice per barrel for this fall brew. We add the pumpkin during the mash at precisely the right time to create just the perfect balance of malt, hops, pumpkin and spice.

The first thing that is noticed about this beer is the aroma. Quite like pumpkin pie. The flavor is also like the pie, with a heavy dose of cinnamon. Nice fall beer.

Murky pour could be slightly off putting. Nice pumpkin and spice nose. Flavors are up front from start to finish. More pumpkin and % than most. Well done for a seasonal I am usually not that stoked about.

This one poured a darker orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of mainly punkpin spice, clove and nutmeg, but a little weak. Flavor was sticky sweetness with some pumpkin flesh, cinnamon and nutmeg. Not too bad but nothing spectacular.

Tap at Capones. Pours a hazy golden amber with a medium bubbly creamy head that laced. Aroma of a nice mix of pumpkin pie spices, pumpkin, toasted malt and some grains. Flavor had a lot of cinnamon, nutmeg, lots of pie spices, pie crust and nuts.

22 oz bottle. Hazy brown with some thin white froth. Nose is pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium body with a tang. Taste kind of like the aroma with honey and clove but not too sweet. Nice earthy bitter finish. Residual spices, a touch of hops. Good balance, quite enjoyable. My favorite from Clipper City so far.

Thin tan head thats short lived, minimal lace, hazy copper color. Nose is soapy, spicey and lightly malty. Medium body with little carbonation, lightly oily. Pumkinny spiceyness, lotsa clove and nutmeg with very little maltiness, some brown sugar, a bit too sweet for me. Sweet and spicey finish. Bomber procured @statelineliquors.

Bottle… Clear dirty-orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Very nice swirling retention. Spicy, pumpkin pie aromatics mingle with toffee malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Sweet, spicy flavor – nice pumpkin presence. Spicy, bittersweet finish.

Bottle from Root Cellar. Poured clear dark orange color with an average white frothy head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Solid spicy pumpkin pie aroma. Moderate body with a smooth sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium pumpkin spicy sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid seasonal beer.

Pours from the 22oz. bomber bottle a medium amber-is color with a half finger head that quickly dissolved into a light lacing. I see almost ZERO carbonation going on, I can practically count the bubbles on one hand. The aroma is malty and slightly sweet, with hints of pumpkin pie spices and maybe just a hint of brown sugar. 1st sip brings a strong hint of pumpkin (yes, you can actually taste the pumpkin), malt, and spices. There is a strong bitterness on the finish from a combination or hops, alcohol & spice. The mouth feel is smooth and neither heavy or watery. Drinkability is pretty good...I could see myself downing a few of these on a Saturday or Sunday while watching football. Overall, a very good beer, IMHO. A nice take on a style that seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it type of beer. I, for one, love it!
