4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle split with some friends. A lot of pumpkin spice in the aroma, reminded me a lot of pumpkin cream pie, if such a thing exists. Compared to the BA version of this beer I’d probably say they’re just about equal.

Pours a clear orange/amber with a medium light tan head. Aroma has nice doughy notes, notable pumpkin, and just the right amount of spice. Flavor follows suit but adds caramel, a bit more spice, and a hint of booziness. Mouthfeel is oily with a boozy spiced finish that warms.

A decent pumpkin ale falls short of the pumking by Southern Tier IMO. A good pumkin palate will leave you satisfied.

Pours mildly hazy deep amber hazy liquid out of a 22 oz bomber bottle. Head is a small and disappearing quickly wreath of fine white bubbles. Nose is sweet pumpkin spice. Nutmeg and cinnamon. Mellow pumpkin aroma underneath as well. Body is on the thinner side of average with little texture. Taste is mellow pumpkin over a nice malty ale. Spice notes present but are not overpowering. Alcohol hit on the back end. A very nice beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Dark orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg, mostly, with pumpkin in the background. Good balance of pumpkin flavor and the pumpkin pie spices although this is a bit more spice forward than I had hoped. Drinking an entire bottle is a lot for one person in my opinion. I still think this is an above average pumpkin ale, however, it just would be easier to drink in a smaller quantity or shared with someone.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a very cloudy deep dark yellow/light orange with very light foam. Aroma is very heavy on spice and nutmeg, and not much else other than a little bit of pumpkin. The taste is very heavy on the spices, more akin to something during Christmas rather than fall. The pumpkin comes in as more of an aftertaste. Not a terribly complex beer, but definitely worth a try if you like something heavily spiced.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Amber in color with minimal white head. Very spicy beer with minimal pumpkin flavor. Starts out spicy and sweet with a slightly dry finish. Overall a good beer that could have been better if there was more pumpkin flavor to balance out the spices in this beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
651mL. Pours a clear orange with a giant, off-white, yellowish head. Excellent retention. Nose is decent pumpkin pie with odd maltiness. Citrus overtones. Taste is cinnamon, and spices with not quite the body that you are expecting. Thinner, astringent, dry cinnamon powder. Tastes like decent beer with a spoonful of cinnamon. One dimensional. Too gimmicky. Need to get a good base beer down first before adding a crapload of cinnamon. Thinner than expected.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A high up there pumpkin beer. For one i like to see the pushing of abv in this style. This beer pours orange with a finger head, cloudy in the body with some particles in there. Really well balanced with actual malt coming in past the cinnamon spice. But i get actual taste of pumpkin along with touch of lemon and tinge of alcohol, giving this beer some balls. Sweet in taste with a gentle spice linger in the finish. A good buy for pumpkin beer fans.
