Overall a very good pumpkin beer. Not overall spiced and not overall carbonated. One of the better ones I’ve had
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Chudwick (1083) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bomber - pours slightly hazy orange with ivory head and decent lacing. Nose is pumpkin spice and maybe ginger. Flavor adds bread and a complex spice finish with a light boozy kick. White pepper aftertaste. Spiciness makes it hard to detect exact taste, but there is obvious sweetness. Grassy hops show up as the beer warms. Fairly tasty though dominated by the pumpkin spice.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 radio_nowhere (415) - Maryland, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Got this bomber in October and is sort of hid in my fridge until now. Poured into snifter glass a clear orange-amber color with off-white head. Aroma of light pumpkin spices (nutmeg, etc) and caramel malt. Taste is malt sweetness, pumpkin spices (mainly nutmeg), some hop bitterness and the lightest touch of actual pumpkin. Medium body, some warming in the finish. Honestly if this was served blind I would think this is a spiced ale. Still good just not expected.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jkwood04 (2288) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 28, 2012
22oz bottle in a snifter. Pours ruby/copper with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, caramel, and a little bit of hops. Flavor the same, with a nice blend and a little bit of alcohol on the finish. Smooth texture. A decent pumpkin beer.

A good example of a pumpkin ale. Great spicy smell and the alcohol warmth is pleasant. Screw Flanders.

May 4, 2012 - with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. Bomber c/o blankboy. Bright slightly hazy orange with a small rocky off-white head (4-). Aroma of pumpkin spices and real meaty pumpkin malt, some alcohol. Taste has less of the real pumpkin character, quite OTT with the spice, and the alcohol is fairly assertive too. Average body, astringent and nicely carbonated, dry and a bit warming in the finish - boy does the spice ever take over with this one - a very dry and spicy aftertaste.

Some spice and vanilla aromas mixed into caramel malt. Copper with lots of orangish hue and almost no head. Sweet with notes of pumpkin and spice, like a very weak pumpkin pie. Full bodied and a touch oily with a sweet warm finish.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass. Pours a pale, translucent orange with a white head of foam. Not much retention. The aroma is kind of dull with some spices coming through, but not enough to awaken it from it’s blandness. Taste has some spiciness, but it’s really just not doing much for me.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Iphonephan (1214) - Virginia, USA - OCT 16, 2012
On draft at lost dog cafe in McLean Va. Mild spice aroma. Sweet malts, pumpkin and spices. Sharp somewhat metallic bitter finish.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Kobal (57) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Pours a nice orange with adequate head. Some nutmeg and spice on the nose. Taste is bitter, roasted, almost burnt tasting and a little pumpkin and spice. Tastes like a brown ale with some spices, less evocative of the season than most fall seasonals and not as pumpkin sweet as some people like their pumpkin beers.
