3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A nice orange amber body with a white head that had great retention and some lace. Aroma had a good caramel malt base upfront. Notes from pumpkin and spices followed with nutmeg really sticking out the most a slight sweetness and some alcohol. Flavor had a little more sweetness the I expected. It wasnít overly sweet in any way. A nice spice note with the nutmeg being dominate pumpkin was a nice bitter sweet accompaniment to the spice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Its body has a very nice deep honey amber color with about an inch of off white foam head. It has some visible carbonation and fine yeast sediment suspended in the body making it hazy. Its head fades to just a wispy thin layer and leaves a little spotty lace near the top of the glass. The nose has heavy pie spice and sweet honey like notes with bready malt, a slight vanilla note and faint hops. There is a sweet maltiness with notes of honey and vanilla up front with heavy cinnamon and pie spice right behind it. Under that there is just a hint of pumpkin or squash like flavor. In the finish I get a mix of pie spice and hop spice with some mild bitterness and acidity.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. One of the better pumpkin beers Iíve tried. Pumpkin, brown sugar and spice with a subtle, unobtrusive and pleasant hit of hops. Maybe a bit a the syrupy sweet side for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. 7/28/13. Pours a clear light-orange with a thin white head. Aroma is pumpkin, banana, spicy, yeast, vanilla, bubblegum, cloves. Taste is pumpkin, bread, alcohol, roast malt, touch of smoke, floral; finish is lingering fruit rind bitterness and a hint of spruce. Light lacing. Medium carbonation. Oily mouth feel. More aggressive bitterness than expected. Not bad. Looking forward to trying The Greater Pumpkin.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber - pours slightly hazy orange with ivory head and decent lacing. Nose is pumpkin spice and maybe ginger. Flavor adds bread and a complex spice finish with a light boozy kick. White pepper aftertaste. Spiciness makes it hard to detect exact taste, but there is obvious sweetness. Grassy hops show up as the beer warms. Fairly tasty though dominated by the pumpkin spice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Got this bomber in October and is sort of hid in my fridge until now. Poured into snifter glass a clear orange-amber color with off-white head. Aroma of light pumpkin spices (nutmeg, etc) and caramel malt. Taste is malt sweetness, pumpkin spices (mainly nutmeg), some hop bitterness and the lightest touch of actual pumpkin. Medium body, some warming in the finish. Honestly if this was served blind I would think this is a spiced ale. Still good just not expected.
