Pale Ale with hand toasted Red & White oaks, Birch woods, and fresh Chinook hops. Cask for Fiery Foods & Firkin festival - 2012.

Cask. Pours hazy dark gold with average, frothy off-white head; good retention and some lacing. Aroma is oranges, floral and grassy hops, caramel and toast malts, and light spice. Flavor is hops forward with sweet malts to balance out the initial bitterness with some light fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is dry oak, fresh hops, fruity esters and biscuit malt. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness with oak notes and fruity esters with a dry finish. Light body and carbonation.
