3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a two-finger cream head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Cloudy pale amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Pine hop nose and flavor is pine hops, Belgian yeast and some orange rind, not as hoppy as an IPA. $2.15 for a 12 oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pour from a 12oz bottle. Cloudy amber brew with thick white head that drops down to a small film, leaving excellent lacing. Nice aroma of fruit esters, grapefruit and sweet malts. Taste is sweet with orange overtones up front with a banana-ish fruit taste emerging towards the middle, a nice blend of Belgian style spice and citrusy grapefruit layers in towards the end of the swallow. Keeps a baseline orange and sweetness throughout. Ends clean and dry, no lingering overtones. Palate is excellent - the carbonation explodes (gently) on the tongue to give each sip a soft burst of energy. This is restrained and not markedly spicey/fruity like a Belgian or hopped up to the max like many IPAs - but in that restraint the brewer has managed a harmony of divergent tastes that really comes together and works well.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Meh. Ok beer. Aroma was very Belgian. Orange peel, yeast and coriander. More like a wit than a white IPA. Pour was a nice light gold with a one finger white head. Very hazy with a little sediment floating. Taste was way too spicy. The coriander and orange peel dominated and barely let any hops through. Very weak carbonation for this style. Almost tasted flat.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle best by SEP0814. Nose is great fruit, very heavy citrus with peel but minimal rind, oily and juicy, faint caramel. Hazy orange with a beige head. Taste is somewhat sweet, only light bitterness if any at all, and all hop juice, it’s fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, some mango and pear, very juicy as a new age IPA. Wheat and spice are minimized, really nothing here but fruit juice, refreshing fullish body with a slight pucker at the very end.
