COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This year’s Siren Noire Imperial Chocolate Stout has been revamped. We’ve aged it for three weeks in bourbon barrels, which gives the beer darker notes of raisin and fig. We’ve also tripled the amount of chocolate nibs and added vanilla bean. A mix of dark malts gives Siren Noire a well-rounded body that is decidedly chocolatey—but without being extraordinarily sweet. Mt. Hood hops contribute a fruity hop profile, with notes of black currant.

2015 bottle. Poured into tulip. Very little head, if any. Aroma of chocolates and roasted malts And Bourbon. Taste chocolate and vanilla and fairly strong bourbon flavor and alcohol. Carbonation was fairly flat almost to flat. It was ok since lighter carbonation works with the style. Fairly smooth finish. Overall enjoyable beer.

Pours a dark black with no head. Has a strong malt aroma of chocolate, coffee, and some vanilla. Taste is strong with coffee with some chocolate, dark alcohol, malts and grains. A lingering grainy and rough malt aftertaste.

Bottle (bomber), poured black, with a small, short lived brown head. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon, some wood and some vanilla. Taste is lots of vanilla and chocolate, malts and a touch of bourbon. Nice beer, enjoyable and very easy to drink which is usually hard to say about an imperial.

Draft at fire works. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Fairly big bourbon on the nose. Lots of bourbon and chocolate on the tongue. Hides it’s booze really well. It’s not complex but it’s solid enough.

Tap @ fireworks Leesburg- pours dark red with a tan head. Aroma is dark fruits, raisin, milk chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, and alcohol. It’s all about sweet chocolate and bourbon with this one. Nice!

Pours rich, warm sable with a fairly thick tan head. Aroma fills the nose with roast malt, mocha, bourbon-soaked wood, molasses, and a snip of licorice. Flavor sends the tongue thanks to bourbon, woody, molasses, coffee, and sweet malt notes plus hints of chocolate and licorice. Viscous, heavy texture has good fizz. Let this siren seduce you - but if you get too seduced, please call a taxi.

Poured draught from BFD Clubhouse. Big chocolate and vanilla flavor. Alcohol masked pretty well. Very solid beer, I was presently surprised. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
