We call this beer an Uber Pils - a pilsner style bock lager. Rich, malty, and well rounded but with a firm structure of noble hops. Surprisingly pale in color for such a powerful, complex beer. Available year round beginning Feb. 05.

I can’t lie. I was looking to check of another style rate. This allowed me to get a new state as well. Pours darker than a Pils to a color I would describe as very pale amber. Head is white. Aroma is earthy with the lightest touch of citrus. Flavor is a medium light sweet with just a hint of bitterness. Slightly thicker than a standard Pils with slightly less carbonation. Poured from a bottle. Mostly clear golden orange. Foamy white head, but not too much lacing. Smell is slightly musty and biscuity with light noble hops. Taste is sweet with caramel malt and honey notes which are quite pleasant. Medium body; label describes finish as crisp, but not picking this up at all - more of a smooth finish for me. Overall, this is not the sytle that I gravitate to, but fairly drinkable and hides the 7% well.

I really enjoyed this. Nice hop aroma of blend described above. Clean crisp tasting with just a touch of malt sweetness. Finishes like a well hopped pale ale with nobles hops and pilsner malt.

Bottle. Barak BBOTM. Clear dark golden with white film. Faint floral and honey aroma, a little tropical fruit that I can’t name too. Alcoholic, sweet, honey taste. Syrupy texture for a lager, medium-bodied, alcoholic finish.

Really really nice pilsner with a good hop structure. Thin on the palate which makes it nice for food pairings of all kind but retains a very balanced malt attack which also lends to a nice adventure in the super pilsner arena. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A decent pils but nothing extraordinary. Starts OK, but develops a bit of that watery cardboard character as it goes.

Clear amber with a fairly small foamy head. Aroma of caramel, some oxidation, and noble hops. Taste of malt, honey, full-to-oily mouthfeel, some tannins, no discernible oxidation in the taste, so the aroma may be of something else that comes across as oxidized. Palate bitter and slick. Overall feels like an overly full-bodied Oktoberfest.

Pours a clear golden orange from the bottle with thin off-white head and light lacing. Aroma of pils malt, bready grain and German yeast. Taste follows, less yeast and more sweet malt. Thin but the alcohol is well hidden.
