A nice fresh and hoppy IPA with a nice bitterness upfront. Very floral and tropical. Get it while it is fresh.

Draft – Heavy Seas 15th Anniversary Open House. Chill hazed gold, thick creamy white head. Aromatic dried pine and citrus notes ride a soft undercurrent of toasted malt throughout. Grapefruit-florals and hints of pine balance well on a soft sweet biscuit-like underpinning. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, bittersweet finish. Very well done as the hop flavors really steal the show. Happy 15th Hugh!

22 oz. Bottle. Awesome IPA. I smell Columbus(Tomahawk) in here, though I could be wrong. Could be the old Amirillo/Simco combo in there as well. Aroma of fresh hops,a nice balanced biscuity malt character, yeast. Excellent bitter balanced by malt. This reminds me of, if Magic hat made a really nice IIPA(along the lines of an Imperial Encore).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle picked up at SL. Thanks to Matt for the recommendation
and sharing this beer. Poured into a snifter, glowing orange color, decent head. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Good aroma of some flowery hops and bready notes. Taste is a clean, crisp IPA. Flowery, a little bready, and some perfume. Dry...no after taste. I wouldnt of guessed it to be 8 percent. Very drinkable... Body is on the lighter side. Overall. Good DIPA, here’s to another 15 years! Thank you, thank you very much!

Bottle shared with dbarnold. Nice orange appearance, not much notes beyond that beyond this: this is an IIPA/DIPA that was very interesting to me, in that I feel it was a 1.5 IPA - ie halfway between an IPA and a DIPA. A good beer.

First off, this bottle is great. The title as well as the elvis on the front made me chuckle and ultimately made me pick this beer up. This beer pours a nice orange color with an off white medium sized head. Smells strongly of hops with some flowery notes floating on by. Taste is pretty good. Not as bitter as the smell might suggest. Has some nice sweetness mixed in with some flowery notes again popping up in the taste! I like this beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is beautiful. Head is a little weak. Overall flavor is dish soap with grapefruit orange and cat piss. Finish is a little bitter with grapefruit rind. This beer is pretty good. Is it the IIPA that I hoped Heavy Seas would produce? No. It is safe just like most of their beers. Come on guys! Take a chance.
