COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This year’s Siren Noire Imperial Chocolate Stout has been revamped. We’ve aged it for three weeks in bourbon barrels, which gives the beer darker notes of raisin and fig. We’ve also tripled the amount of chocolate nibs and added vanilla bean. A mix of dark malts gives Siren Noire a well-rounded body that is decidedly chocolatey—but without being extraordinarily sweet. Mt. Hood hops contribute a fruity hop profile, with notes of black currant.

Superlative. On cask at Barcade. Pour, slightly ruby stout like an oil slick, barrel aging adds layers of complexity

Draft at heavy seas brewpub in Rosslyn. Black w thin head. Syrupy vinous chocolate aroma w sweet current and bourbon vanilla notes. Similar taste. Slick oily mouthfeel w distinct alcohol. Notable chocolate on the front but not overpowering. Well constructed beer but can't have too many! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft from the source. Pours nearly pitch black with medium head and soapy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, bakers chocolate, and vanilla beans. Flavors are the same with the most luxurious dark chocolate truffle amidst some pecan and a dash of spice from the bourbon. The epitome of a desert beer. Astonishing.

Draft at 80/20 burger bar. Pours a deep brown color with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is light, sweet chocolate milk, touch of roasted malts. Flavor is much more pleasant, big chocolate, vanilla, milk. Not much bourbon, but still a delicious beer!

2013 bottle..pours a dark black with a tan head that eventually dissipates...nose is pretty solid with tons of chocolate..bourbon notes..vanilla slight coconut..mouthfeel is velvety smooth..medium bodied indeed that produces slick buttered rum soaked bourbon taste profile..solid finish all around, tasty not overly boozy bourbon stout..this is a smooth offering.
