3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 Oz. Bottle from Dover Liquor Depot. Poured dark deep amber with a nice off white head that leaves huge and consistent lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, malts and some hops (I was expecting more hops from a DIPA) and some Oak. Taste is malty sweet with a moderated bitterness from hops some oak and booze there as well. Good beer very enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Received in a trade from vlan1 and opened at an esbls. This offered big hops that did not work for me along with wood, vanilla, and big malts. Tadsty but the hops were off.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Wegman’s Lake Manassas. Pours a clear copper color with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of wood, spicy, citrus and herbal hops, pale biscuit malts with just a touch of caramel. The taste is citrus hops, candied citrus, caramel malts, wood. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, moderate lingering bitterness and a good bit of sweetness. Almost too much. Decent.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bomber. Hazy orangish amber with a thin off-white head and really good lacing. Smell is caramel, raisins, piney hops, citrus, and definitely oak and vanilla come through as well. Taste is big, lots hops and caramel. Also the oak and bittering hops play well off each other, with the vanilla and caramel notes lingering on the tip of the tongue. Has many of the characteristics of a barleywine, big and complex. Noticeable alcohol, but not as a negative. Has a big beer mouthfeel that coats your palate in between sips. This is a good one.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear copper from the bottle with fluffy off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is malty sweetness, caramel, vanilla from the oak, and a hint of hops. Taste is big on the malts and boozy sweetness, not a a whole lot of hop presence. Mediocre at best, but good to get drunk on.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A clear copper body with an off white head that had very little retention. It seemed almost flat by appearance. Aroma had some great malt notes, mostly caramel and a good resinous hops note. It had some earthy dirt notes to it which in no way negatively affected the beer. Flavor was on the mild side. Nice caramel malts and some hops. Easy to drink. Alcohol seemed hidden.
