Our "winter warmer" ale, brewed with copious helpings of English malts and US and English hops, a ruddy hued "Imperial ESB" in style. Full malty flavors dancing with powerful hop aromas and a lingering, firm hop bitterness. Seasonally available from mid October to February.

Poors a dirty brownish gold with a large foam head that is a off white color. Appears to be unfiltered. Smells of sweets hops, like it’s loaded with them. There is also some citrus in the smells as well. Taste is a well balanced mix of malt and hop. These are the commanding elements but other aspects such as toffee and caramel kind of add to the malt. Mostly this just taste like a bitter ale. It’s good a good winter warmer type of beer I feel the 7.5%abv in my chest and not in my mouth. Dry malty finish, malt is quiet dark with notes of toffee.

This is ok. For a winter seasonal it does lack the spices of the winter season. Hops a little too much. Ok, would try again.

Has a pleasing berry like and hoppy aroma. Flavor has a definit hop bitterness, as well as some spicy notes. These al rest on a solid malty backbone. Very enjoyable, and I thank Jimboood for this beer.

Pours a slightly hazy chestnut color with some ivory head. There is too much brown for me to call it an amber. Aroma is mainly caramel malt with some breadiness. Taste is malty and bready with a little spice and bitterness mixed in. Body is medium. Not a bad beer but not what I would consider an ESB. It is too sweet.

12oz bottle---> wine glass. Pours a deep brownish amber with very little head and little lace. Smells of bready molasses and mild pine. Taste is burnt caramel and nice piney hops and slight licorice. Medium-thick palate with very little carbonation. Not a favorite style of mine, but this is a fairly well done beer.

Pours clear copper with a beige head. Aroma has lots of hops with a sweet undertone. The aroma is a great balance of hops, sweetness and alcohol. Great lingering bitterness. Really liked this.

A truly excellent looking beer in the glass: dark amber color, dense white head. Matched with the malted hops aroma a had high hopes for this beer well before the first sip. The taste was remarkable, full bodies and complex, but not overly dry or bitter. In fact it reminded me a little of fine cognac. at the end I was ready to lick out the glass. Cheers.

Decent. Nice copper hue, with a deep presence in the mug that says drink me. There is a nice sweet malt flavor that overlays a slightly arousing mix of flavors, but nothing I can really stamp my finger on. Decent is all
