argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA Nov 21, 2002 No head atop a dark muddy brown body. The aroma is sweet syrupy caramel, with a slight oaky port quality. Flavor starts quite sweet (sugar/molasses). But at mid-taste, it just sort of sits on the tongue. Surprisingly, it’s even watery at times. The aftertaste has a slight alcohol burn that works ok with the port/oak at the finish.
