COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leftovers ... We aged some Chuck (sort of a brown-bretty) in wooden barrels with sour cherries for six months. It emerged with a somewhat subdued brett presence but tastes more like a flemish sour. 6.4% abv. (33 cases in 750ml)

This has precisely the range of leathery, tannic, fruity and cheesy brett flavors that I crave. Very well made, with a slight flavor drop in the finish, this looks good (darker than expected), hold a wonderful head, is enhanced in the body (getting even gritty toward the end) and flavors (slightly more sour) by adding the yeast pour. A bit minerally like cherry stones. Delicious. Could be more sour, but this is restrained and even elegant. A great beer; thanks to EDA and willblack for bottles; folks, I need more.

Bottle at WtWBA Brooklyn 2012. Pours a brown body with thin lacing. Aroma is dark fruit, sourness, oak, funk, and fresh fruit. Mouthfeel is delicate and great with notes of sour funk, tart fruit, oak, Brett, vinegar. Really glad I was able to try this.

Bottle who brought this, your the man know that! Pours an amber body with a light white head. Funky brett, cherries, pedo, and a light Flemish bruin quality. Dry with a chewy pit and nuttiness. Hints of fruit skins, cherry pit, and a mild funk to finish. Low acidity and crisp carbonation. For all this time this is still a treat. Drink em if ya got em. Very good. Now someone get me a slice of bread!

Bottle shared by someone at Paul and Ryan’s 5000th celebration, thanks! Poured a clear reddish amber with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of sour cherries with a good amount of acid and a hint of funk. Flavor began with sour cherries but became a bit syrupy. The acid came out in the finish with a bit of backing funk.

Had this while camping at BCTC this year. Pours a lightly hazed reddish orange with a thin white head. Cherries and caramel, light vanilla. Touch of cough syrup, sweet and syrupy. Old and oxidized, cherry sweet. Long oxidization and tartness on the finish.

Thanks Jimmack for sharing. Aroma is so bright and tart, woody, some light funk and juicy fruity cherries and plums. Taste is sweet/tart and very smooth and pleasant to drink. Nice amount of sourness and cherry. A little wood, vanilla undertones and grape skin, a little dry and very good. This one held up IMO.

Bottle Pulled out by our good friend Footbalm. U da man. Pours out a hazy amber topped with a small tan head. Aroma of sour cherries and wood. Tast was nice with multiple fruits and a nice light tartness. (is that a word) Along with more of the wood.

2005 Bottle? -Thanks footbalm! - Pours a muddled amber with a nonexistant head...aroma is woody, sour fruity...flavour is tart apples and cheries, barrel, and a bit of grain...finish is similarly dry wood and a bit of acid...fun experience....

Aroma is pretty light, has a bit of cardboard to it. The flavour is quite oxidized, not much left of what this beer used to be. Tastes like a well worn brown ale. Seems to have some sour qualities to it.
