Commercial Description:
Leftovers ... We aged some Chuck (sort of a brown-bretty) in wooden barrels with sour cherries for six months. It emerged with a somewhat subdued brett presence but tastes more like a flemish sour. 6.4% abv. (33 cases in 750ml)

9/20/2008 tasting at toncatchers house, with whetheral, weeheavy, fordest, alohac, and Jason. Thanks for all the great beers and good times. I thought this was really good despite talk of oxidation. Maybe it wasn’t as bad as previous bottles?

Thanks to Jimmack for sharing. Amber in color with a small- medium off white head. Aroma of brett, sour cherry, light caramel, moderately funky. Taste is moderately bretty, sour cherry, light caramel, finish is earthy and lightly sour. Nice.

Shared with Wee Heavy at toncatcher’s tasting. Lots of funk in the aromas with hints of wood. Flavor was more wood with even more funk. First good sour of the night. Yummy

tried at Another Santee Sampling. this time at toncatcher’s house. The name reminds me of the chiapet song. Cloudy dark amber color with light brown head. Buttery funky arouna. Tart taste. Dryish.

Actually first new rating of Toncatcher’s tasting. I brought this bottle that I got via trade a ways back. AlohaC had issues with the last bottle he opened of this a year or so back but I have to say this was good despite partial oxidation. Pours brownish with a tan head. Nose was oxidized but tart and strong. Taste was sweet and tart and funky, slightly oxidized but still good with a nice lingering fruitness.
