Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 9, 2003 Alt that's a lager - depending on what you're getting at that's really no big thing. Glowing brick colour. Dripping hop nose. Fresh, complex rhythms like multigrain bread, wood, earth, nuts...stronger caramel in the palate, full body, halvah, earth and a very caramelly finish. Robust. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/28/2006
argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2003 (SCBE2003): Clear amber with small tan head. Aroma is light sweet, caramel, slightly floral. Taste is caramel, light sweet, floral, then finishing earthy bitter. Medium body, highly carbonated. Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 4, 2004 Clear copper hue. Calm foamy off-white head leaves sheets on the glass. Definite fresh cut grass aroma seems to come from a mix of golding and rye-like german hops a la uerige. Nicely toasted flavored malt, herbal and bready. Grassy palate, powdery sage sufficient bitterness. Flour dryness. Not the in your face extravagant range of flavors, but good balance, concept and execution. Moderate effervescence, foamy medium body, rather thick, but airy at the same time. Worth picking up when you’ll come across. hopdog (4779), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 11, 2004 On tap at the 2004 Kennett Square BF. Poured a cloudy, medium mahogany color with a small off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel. Hops in the end. Not bad.
